Invoicing and factoring
Trucking invoicing and factoring, built from the delivered load
In freightline you invoice a broker straight from the delivered load and email it with the rate con and POD attached. If you factor, one button emails the rate con, BOL, POD and invoice to your factoring company and marks the load Factored.

Pick how you get paid
In Settings → Company, choose We invoice brokers ourselves or Through a factoring company. The loads board follows your choice: Dispatched → In transit → Delivered → Invoiced → Paid, or Delivered → Factored → Paid.
If you invoice brokers yourself
- Press Create invoice on a delivered load. The due date uses the broker’s terms or your default.
- Edit the bill-to name, billing email, address, due date and notes if needed.
- Press Email to broker with the rate con and POD attached, or share the invoice as a PDF link.
- Press Mark paid with a payment reference when the money arrives. Outstanding and paid invoices have their own tabs.
If you factor
- Enter your factoring company and its submissions email once.
- On a delivered load, press Email to factoring. The packet goes out and the load is marked Factored.
- Track each load as Pending, Factored or Paid on the pill next to its status.
- Connected a Telegram bot? The same packet can go to your Telegram chat, ready to forward from your phone.
No packet without the POD
Drivers upload BOL and POD photos from the driver app, and a load can’t move to Delivered until the POD is on file. That’s what keeps the invoice and the factoring packet complete the first time. How drivers upload documents.

Frequently asked questions
Which factoring companies does freightline work with?
Any factoring company that accepts submissions by email. You enter its name and submissions email once, and the packet goes there. There is no direct API connection to a factor.
What's in the factoring packet?
The rate confirmation, BOL, POD and the invoice if one exists. Sending it marks the load Factored.
Can I invoice a load before it's delivered?
No. Create invoice appears once the load is delivered, and a load can't be marked delivered until the POD is uploaded, so the invoice always has its paperwork.
How are payment terms set?
Set your default payment terms in days under Settings → Company. If a broker has its own terms, those are used for that broker's invoices.
Can I undo Mark paid?
Yes. The company owner can press Mark unpaid to reopen the invoice.
