Privacy Policy
Last updated October 28, 2026. This explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.
Fil Trucking Corp (“we”) operates freightline. This policy covers our website and the freightline application. For data that carriers put into the app about their drivers, brokers and loads, the carrier decides what’s collected and why; we process it on the carrier’s behalf, under our Terms of Service.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: name, email, phone, company name, password (stored as a one-way hash).
- Trial and contact requests: what you type into our sign-up and contact forms.
- Business data you enter or upload: loads, rate confirmations, PODs, driver and truck records, CDLs and other documents, settlements, fuel and expense entries.
Information collected automatically
- Essential cookies that keep you signed in and remember your active company, theme and layout choices.
- Basic server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, errors) used for security and debugging.
We don’t use advertising cookies, and we don’t sell or rent personal information.
How we use it
- To run the Service: store your records, calculate settlements and reports, and send the notifications you turn on.
- To read documents you upload with AI and fill in loads, drivers, trucks and fuel entries for you.
- To provide support and reply to messages.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To send account and billing notices. Product news only if you opt in, with an unsubscribe link.
Who processes it
We use a small set of service providers, each bound to use the data only to provide their service to us:
- Vercel: application hosting and file storage for uploaded documents.
- Neon: managed PostgreSQL database.
- Anthropic: AI document parsing, briefings and the in-app assistant. Your content isn’t used to train their models.
- Google Maps Platform: mileage and route calculations from city and address data.
- Stripe: subscription billing. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Resend: sending account emails and invoices, and receiving fuel receipts you forward to your import address.
- Your ELD provider (for example Swift ELD or Samsara): only if you connect it, to read truck locations, driver hours and miles.
- FMCSA: broker MC/DOT numbers are checked against the public FMCSA registry.
- Telegram: only if you connect your own bot, to deliver the notifications and factoring packets you configure.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Retention
We keep account and business data while your account exists, including after a trial ends or you cancel, so you can export it or come back. We delete it when you ask us to (email hello@freightline.app). We may also delete the data of a workspace that has stayed canceled or unused for 12 months, but only after emailing the account owner a warning first. Deleted data is removed from active systems; backups expire on their normal schedule. Contact form messages are kept as long as needed to help you, and then deleted.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our hosting and database providers. Each company’s data is isolated in the application, and access is limited by role (owner, dispatcher, accountant, driver). No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal information we’ll notify you as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- Access, correct or export your information from the app, or ask us to do it.
- Ask us to delete your account and associated data.
- Opt out of non-essential emails at any time.
- California and other US state residents may have additional rights, such as knowing what we collect and not being discriminated against for exercising privacy rights. We honor those requests.
Drivers and other people whose information a carrier stores in freightline: please contact that carrier first. We’ll help them respond.
Children
The Service is for businesses and isn’t directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
If we make material changes we’ll update the date above and notify account owners by email or in the app before they take effect.
