Terms of Service
Last updated October 28, 2026. Plain English, no tricks. If something here is unclear, ask us.
These terms are an agreement between you and Fil Trucking Corp (“we”, “us”), a Florida corporation that operates freightline (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of a carrier or other business, you confirm you can bind that business, and “you” means that business.
1. What the Service is
freightline is web software for trucking companies: load management, document storage, driver settlements, fuel and IFTA tracking, expense tracking, AI-assisted document parsing, and related tools. We may add, change or retire features over time. If we remove something you pay for in a way that materially reduces the Service, we’ll tell you in advance.
2. Your account
- Give accurate sign-up information and keep it current.
- Keep passwords private. You’re responsible for activity under your account and the users you invite.
- Tell us right away at hello@freightline.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
3. Free trial, plans and billing
- New accounts start with a 30-day free trial with full access. No payment card is needed to start it. If the trial ends without a plan, the workspace is locked (your data is kept) and nothing is charged.
- To keep using the Service you choose a plan and add a card in Settings → Billing. If you do that during the trial, the first charge happens when the trial ends; after the trial, it happens when you subscribe.
- Automatic renewal. A subscription renews automatically and your card is charged the price of the plan you chose every month or year (as chosen) until you cancel. If you subscribed during the trial, we email you at least 3 days before the first charge.
- You can cancel online at any time in Settings → Billing. Canceling before the first charge means you are never charged; canceling later stops the next renewal and access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Promotional discounts (for example the launch price) apply to subscriptions started through January 31, 2027, or earlier if we end the offer; the discount stays on subscriptions started before then for as long as that subscription remains active, as described when you subscribe. If a discounted subscription ends and you subscribe again after the offer is over, the new subscription is at the regular price.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, at the price shown when you subscribe.
- Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise or we say so in writing.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; changes apply at your next renewal.
- If payment fails we may suspend the account after reasonable notice.
- Prices don’t include taxes; you’re responsible for applicable sales or use taxes.
Referral program. Each account has a referral link (Settings → Billing). When a new company signs up through your link and pays its first month on a paid plan, we credit one month of the monthly price of each company’s own plan — at the discount it is on, if any — to that company’s billing account, applied against its next invoice; if you have no subscription yet, your credit is kept and applied after your own first paid month. One credit per referred company. Credits have no cash value, cannot be refunded or transferred, and expire with the account. Referrals of companies you own or control, self-referrals, fake signups, or a first payment that is refunded or charged back are void, and we may void credits and end the program at any time for abuse.
4. Your data
You own the data you put into the Service: loads, documents, driver and truck records, settlements and everything else (“Customer Data”). You give us permission to host, process, back up and display Customer Data only to run, secure and improve the Service for you, and as described in our Privacy Policy. We don’t sell Customer Data.
You’re responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, including driver personal information, and for meeting your own record-keeping obligations (FMCSA, DOT, IFTA, IRS). The Service helps you organize records; it isn’t a substitute for your own compliance program.
You can export your data at any time, including after a trial ends, a payment fails or you cancel: the workspace is locked, but Reports & export stays open to the owner. We keep Customer Data while your account exists and delete it when you ask us to (email hello@freightline.app). We may also delete the data of a workspace that has stayed canceled or unused for 12 months, but only after emailing the account owner a warning first. Deleted data is removed from active systems; backups roll off on their normal schedule.
5. AI features
Some features use AI to read documents (rate confirmations, CDLs, fuel reports) or to answer questions about your data. AI output can be wrong. Review parsed loads, amounts and dates before you rely on them, invoice a broker, or pay a driver. We send only the content needed for the feature to our AI providers, under terms that don’t allow them to train on it.
6. Acceptable use
Don’t:
- break the law or help anyone else do so, including privacy and anti-spam laws;
- upload malware or content you don’t have the right to share;
- try to access another company’s data, probe or bypass security, or overload the Service;
- resell the Service or copy it to build a competing product;
- scrape the Service except through features we provide for export.
7. Third-party services
The Service can connect to tools you choose, such as Telegram, factoring companies, maps and fuel card providers. Your use of those tools is governed by their terms, and we’re not responsible for them. When you connect one, you authorize us to send it the data needed for that integration.
8. Availability and support
We work to keep the Service available and secure, but it’s provided over the internet and may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. Support is available by email at the address on our contact page.
9. Cancellation and termination
You can cancel any time; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. We may suspend or end accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, that put the Service or other customers at risk, or that remain unpaid. Where reasonable, we’ll warn you first and give you a chance to export your data.
10. Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated in these terms, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Calculations such as settlements, cost per mile, IFTA totals and market rates are tools to help you decide; you’re responsible for the final numbers you pay, file or invoice.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or lost profits or revenue. Each party’s total liability arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits don’t apply to your payment obligations or to either party’s misuse of the other’s intellectual property.
12. Indemnity
You’ll defend and hold us harmless from third-party claims arising from Customer Data you upload or from your violation of these terms or the law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For material changes we’ll notify account owners by email or in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the update.
14. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. If a part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right isn’t a waiver. You can’t assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of a merger or sale of the business. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order form, are the entire agreement.
15. Contact
