Buyer's guide
There is no single best TMS for a small fleet: TruckingOffice is the cheapest, TruckLogics has native store apps, Truckbase offers hands-on onboarding, and freightline (ours) automates rate cons, settlements and factoring packets at $19.50/mo (launch price, normally $39) for one truck or $39.50/mo (launch price, normally $79) for 2–5 trucks. Use the checklist below to decide which trade-offs fit how you run.

Disclosure: freightline is our product. We include it because we think it’s a good fit for many small carriers, but you should weigh this guide accordingly. Facts about other products come only from their published pages, linked under Sources.

Our product. A TMS built by a working trucking company owner for 1–20 truck carriers: AI reads rate cons into loads, settlements and factoring packets come from each delivered load, and IFTA is built from ELD or routed miles.
Price: Solo $19.50/mo (launch price, normally $39) (1 truck); Starter $39.50/mo (launch price, normally $79) (2–5 trucks); Growth $12.50/truck/mo, $64.50/mo minimum (launch price, normally $25/truck, $129/mo minimum) (6 trucks and up). 15% off when paid yearly.
Good for: Owner-operators and small fleets that factor or invoice brokers, pay drivers by percentage or mile, or run owner-operators under their MC.
Watch out for: No load board, no EDI, no native store app and no direct QuickBooks sync yet. Not built for LTL or brokerage.
TruckingOffice is a long-running, low-cost trucking management system priced by fleet size, with a Basic (FTL) and a Pro (FTL and LTL) edition.
Price: Basic (FTL): $25/mo for 1–2 trucks, $55/mo for 3–7, $90/mo for 8+. Pro (FTL & LTL): $35, $75, $130/mo. PC*MILER routing add-on $5–$25/mo. Monthly, no contract
Good for: Carriers who want the lowest monthly bill, run LTL, or need PC*MILER practical miles.
Watch out for: The driver app needs the Pro plan; ELD integrations and supported languages aren't published.
TruckLogics is a trucking TMS with dispatch, IFTA, settlements and invoicing, priced by fleet size, with native iPhone and Android apps.
Price: Monthly: $39.95 (1–2 trucks), $79.95 (3–7), $199.96 (8–14), $249.95 (15–24); lower when billed yearly ($35.96, $71.96, $179.96, $224.96/mo). 25+ trucks: quote
It depends on what you pay for and how you work. For the lowest bill, TruckingOffice starts at $25/mo. For native store apps and e-signed BOLs, TruckLogics. For hands-on onboarding at 5–50 trucks, Truckbase. For AI rate con parsing, owner-operator fee splits and factoring packets at a flat $19.50/mo (launch price, normally $39) for one truck or $39.50/mo (launch price, normally $79) for 2–5 trucks, freightline (our product).
Published prices for 5 trucks range from $55–$75/mo (TruckingOffice) and $79.95/mo (TruckLogics) to $39.50/mo (launch price, normally $79) (freightline). Truckbase starts at $290/mo billed annually, and Rose Rocket at $2,080/mo.
Not always. A spreadsheet works until IFTA, invoices and factoring paperwork start eating your evenings. If you factor every load or file IFTA yourself, a TMS usually pays for itself in time saved.

Because we built it and think it belongs here. That's a bias, so we say so, list only facts each vendor publishes, and say who each product suits better than ours.
