Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?
Yes. The calculators are free to embed on any website, with no sign-up, no API key and no usage limit. We only ask that you keep the credit link under the calculator.
How do I add a calculator to my site?
Pick light or dark, click Copy code and paste it into an HTML or custom-code block on your page. It works in WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow and any page builder that accepts HTML.
What does the script do? Can I leave it out?
The short script only resizes the calculator's frame to fit its content as visitors add rows. Without it the frame keeps a fixed height and scrolls inside if needed, so you can leave it out if your site doesn't allow scripts.
Is what my visitors type sent anywhere?
No. The numbers are worked out in the visitor's browser and nothing they type is saved or sent to us. There are no ads, pop-ups or sign-up forms inside the calculator.
Are the IFTA rates kept up to date?
Yes. The IFTA calculator uses the same quarterly diesel rate tables as our IFTA rates pages, and the embedded version updates on its own when a new quarter is added.
