# freightline > The TMS for fleets of 1 to 20 trucks: reads the rate con, builds the load, bills the broker or factor, pays the driver and does IFTA. 30-day free trial, no card. freightline (https://freightline.app) is a web-based transportation management system (TMS) for small US trucking carriers: owner-operators, fleets of 2–20 trucks, dispatch services that work for several carriers, and carriers that manage owner-operators under their MC. It was founded by a former truck driver who went on to own a trucking company, and runs real trucks every day and is offered as a subscription from $39/mo, with a 30-day free trial (no credit card). ## What it does - **AI document parsing**: a broker rate confirmation (PDF) becomes a load — broker, rate, all pickup/delivery stops, reference numbers — in about 30 seconds. The same AI reads CDLs, truck/trailer registrations and fuel-card statements. - **Dispatch**: loads with multi-stop routes, drivers, co-drivers (team loads), trucks and trailers, Google Maps mileage and deadhead, load status board, documents (rate con, BOL, POD) uploaded from a phone. - **Driver settlements**: per-load pay schemes (percentage of gross, cents per mile, salary), deductions, advances/bonuses, deadhead and extra-stop pay, team-load 50/50 splits; numbered PDF paystubs shared to Telegram/WhatsApp/email. - **Owner-operators**: owner-operator drivers who pay the carrier a percentage fee, with the fee split between named recipients (e.g. two partners and a dispatcher). - **Dispatcher / team payroll**: percentage-of-gross or salary paystubs for office staff. - **Invoices to brokers**: one click after delivery — numbered invoice PDF, emailed to the broker with the rate con and POD attached; outstanding / overdue tracking with aging. - **Factoring**: when a load is delivered, a packet (invoice + rate con + POD) is sent to Telegram automatically; payment status tracking with aging. Companies choose whether they invoice brokers themselves or bill through a factor. - **Dispatch board**: Kanban view of loads (dispatched → in transit → delivered → invoiced → paid) with drag-and-drop. - **Fuel & IFTA**: fuel-card report import, per-state gallons and miles. - **Expenses, dashboard, cost per mile**, cash and accrual views. - **AI assistant**: daily briefing, chat about your own data, trucking news digest (English/Ukrainian/Russian), freight market map by state/equipment. - **Multi-company**: switch between several carrier companies from one login (each company has its own subscription); data is isolated per company; roles: owner, dispatcher, accountant, driver (driver portal shows only the driver's own loads and settlements). - Driver portal, document retention rules, audit log. ## Pricing (USD) - **Solo** — $39/mo: 1 truck, flat price. 1 truck; Flat price; All features included. - **Starter** — $79/mo: 2–5 trucks, flat price. 2–5 trucks; Flat price — no per-truck charge; All features included. - **Growth** — $25/truck/mo ($129/mo minimum): 6+ trucks, priced per truck. 6 trucks and up, no cap; Pay per truck, with a monthly minimum; All features included. - **Scale** — $39/truck/mo ($390/mo minimum): Same app and features, with a 10-truck minimum.
